The right servo motor is significantly important to the performance & efficiency of a heavy duty industrial sewing machine, so it is worth spending a little extra to get the best available. A good heavy duty leather sewing machine machine with the wrong motor and control is a bad investment and will cause a lot of frustration and discontent.
Many leatherworkers still use a speed reducer unit in addition to a servo motor to provide for the best control and punching power for adverse situations. The addition of a speed reducer can make the handwheel on the sewing machine very hard to turn, and it presents another area of potential failure and maintenance as it requires the use of an additional belt and pulley system. When start to supply our 797 leather sewing machine to a major leather hobby retailer in the USA, we were faced with the challenge of how to develop a new servo motor that could make the sewing machine far more manageable. The need for precise, stitch by stitch slow and accurate sewing speed was our goal. Our engineering team worked extensively on the problem and created a high power servo motor that did not lose HP and torque when set to the slowest possible speed, and finally succeeded in developing Kinedyne HM-750SL slow speed high HP and torque servo motor.
Kinedyne HM-750SH can drive most heavy duty sewing machines without any difficulty. However we wanted to ensure extra reliability and power with a more powerful servo motor for extreme operating conditions. For example, CB-4500 extra heavy duty leather sewing machine, 366-76-12-HM robust long arm zigzag sewing machine, 733 CS extreme heavy duty sewing machine, and 728-30 long arm twin needle heavy duty sewing machine are great machines that can use this motor. Long arm , heavy duty leather, and double needle machines require extremely high torque. That's why we developed the HM-1000SH super powerful sewing servo motor.
For production manufacturers, “acceptable performance” is not enough!! They usually need high efficiency heavy duty industrial sewing machines with automatic functions, such as a pneumatic/automatic foot lift & reverse stitch, puller, pneumatic seam guide, needle cooler etc. The need for these added functions why the HM-750T was developed. The needle positioner is ideal for turning corners while sewing or any other applications that require UP and DOWN needle positioning.
